RESTORATION PROJECT - AVOIDING THE FRANKENBAG
So I was at my daughter's flat the other night and she gave me a damaged leather (Vince Camuto) bag. She thought I could make good use of the leather. Once I got it home and had a good look at it, I did consider a coupe of projects that I could have used the leather for, but then I though "what a waste of a good bag" and thought of how to save/restore it to be functional as intended. On reflection, I am thinking that perhaps lining the interior of the main part of the bag would have been a good idea to reinforce the bag's integrity where the handles attach. I was quite happy with the result.
